Everyone at our club must be able to exercise and work in a safe environment. If the sports climate is not perceived as safe, we must discuss this with each other and change it. AAC also has a confidential contact person:  Pim Harms - former forensic doctor, AAC Rugby player and grandfather of two youth players.

The confidential contact person is the first point of contact when there are problems that do not fit with a safe sports climate. Have you had to deal with inappropriate behavior within our club? Please contact the confidential contact person. We will discuss with you confidentially and without judgement.

 

What are examples of situations where the VCPs can be contacted? This includes: bullying and/or exclusion, discrimination, sexual harassment and/or aggression.

AAC applies the rules of conduct set by the municipality of Amsterdam (based on the guidelines of NOC*NSF) and can be viewed here. This means, among other things, that all our youth counselors have applied for and registered a Certificate of Good Conduct (VOG).
